The couple had been in a romantic relationship for approximately one year before announcing their engagement.
Virginia, a prominent Instagram influencer, businesswoman and television presenter, was born in Connecticut, United States, though she spent her formative years in Brazil.
According to The Athletic Lifestyle, she has a substantial following across YouTube, Instagram and various other social media platforms, where she regularly shares lifestyle content and beauty-related updates.

Previously married to Brazilian musician Ze Felipe, with whom she has three children, Virginia documented her engagement milestone through a series of Instagram stories, chronicling how her year-long relationship with Vinicius culminated in their engagement.
In one of the images featured in her story, both Vinicius and Virginia displayed their engagement rings.
Virginia wrote, as reported by Madrid Xtra: “Following a year of dating, my engagement ring has finally arrived.”
Regarding her relationship with Vinicius, which she characterised as demanding due to his rigorous training regimen and professional obligations at Real Madrid, Virginia previously said:
“I am genuinely content in this relationship. Consequently, I dedicate myself to nurturing it and ensuring its success. It is a demanding relationship: one must maintain schedules for all activities, adhering to everything with precision.”
