Nigeria to host CAF Ordinary Congress, 2026 CAF Awards

Nigeria will host the 2026 Confederation African Football, CAF, Awards Ceremony, DAILY POST reports.

The West African nation will also stage the 48th CAF Ordinary General Assembly.

The CAF General Assembly will hold in October this year, while the CAF Awards is slated for December.

President Bola Tinubu announced the country will host the two events during a meeting with CAF President, Dr Patrice Motsepe at the ongoing Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi, Kenya.

Morocco hosted the last three editions of the CAF awards.

CAF’s 54 Member Associations, representatives from the six zonal unions and senior football officials from across the continent will participate in the ordinary congress.
