Staff at RTÉ Donnybrook campus evacuated after bomb threat

STAFF AT RTÉ’S Donnybrook campus have been evacuated this morning following a bomb threat.

It’s understood a message sent to the broadcaster claimed to be from the same group that was behind the threats to planes across Europe this week.

The threat was emailed in earlier this morning. The main buildings at the campus have been evacuated, multiple sources at the location have said.

Gardaí are currently at the scene.

Crew are now setting up radio equipment in the canteen to try and broadcast from there while they wait for permission to return to the studio.

In an Instagram story post, Morning Ireland presenter Sarah McInerney said there was a bomb threat, and she was among the people evacuated.
