Drop Duchy descends onto PS5 and Switch this month

Sleepy Mill Studio and publisher The Arcade Crew have announced that their block-dropping roguelite Drop Duchy will launch for PS5 and Nintendo Switch on 21st April. The game is already available for PC and Xbox (and on Xbox Game Pass).

This will be Drop Duchy: Complete Edition, which will include all additional content released so far, namely The Tribe and The North DLC.

The game blends together roguelite deck building with Tetris-like block dropping, blending them with the notion of building up settlements and buildings to overcome roving enemies. As a roguelite, it is run-based, with each effort unlocking further options, new starting points and creating fresh combos and potential strategies to explore.

In a charming, maquette-inspired medieval world, Drop Duchy blends deckbuilding, puzzle mechanics, and roguelite progression into one seamless, strategic experience. Build your duchy piece by piece by thoughtfully placing terrain tiles and buildings Gather resources and rally your forces to vanquish your enemies.

I rather enjoyed Drop Duchy when it launched back in May, saying in our review, “An inventive blend of easy-going Tetris with roguelite deck building and strategy, Drop Duchy is another great puzzle game to sink into in 2025. You can feel like you’ve seen it all after a few successful runs, but there’s depths and further challenges to take on for those who want to shoot for high scores.”
