Be a cheeky bird thief in Bad Magpie

Untitled Goose Game fans better prepare themselves for more avian shenanigans with the reveal of Bad Magpie, coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2027. Game Pass Ultimate on day one, too.

Coming from UK-based studio Milktooth, there’s a little bit of heartbreak to the story of Bad Magpie. Magpie has been abandoned by her flock as she lives with just a single wing. So, she starts to compulsively try to collect trinkets in the hope of winning the affection of a fallen star.

It’s a non-linear open world that you can run around in, pecking, stealing, meddling with things that you find.

Milktooth is an independent games studio founded by artist Catherine Unger (Tangle Tower, Gibbon: Beyond the Trees), designer Daisy Fernandez (Card Shark, As Dusk Falls), and developer George Batchelor (Bird Alone, South of the Circle).
