9th edition of Mysuru Children’s Literature Festival on Nov. 30

The 9th edition of Mysuru Children’s Literature Festival will be held at Wind Chimes in Nazarbad in Mysuru on November 30.

Organised by Mysuru Literary Forum Charitable Trust and Mysuru Book Clubs 2015, the Mysuru Children’s Literature Festival will be inaugurated by sculptor Arun Yogiraj.

The Children’s Literature Festival, described as a celebration of stories, creativity and young imaginations, will be held from 2 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. on November 30.

City Police Commissioner Seema Latkar, who will also participate in the inaugural function, will release the books and distribute prizes to the winners of Inter-School General Knowledge competition held on October 26 and the winners of short story writing contest.

Authors, storytellers, story book reading, illustrators, robotics, ventriloquist and music are the main attractions of the festival this year, said the statement.
