Indian actor Tabu has indicated the episode of Dune: Prophecy where she will make her grand appearance.

Tabu essays the recurring character of Sister Francesca in the prequel series. The show, streaming episodically on HBO, has launched two episodes so far. The series centres on the sisterhood of the Bene Gesserit, a shadowy order that controls the politics and future of the Dune universe. The series is set 10,000 years before the events of Denis Villeneuve’s Dune andDune: Part Two.

The episode featuring Tabu as Sister Francesca will stream in India on December 16. Described as “strong, intelligent, and alluring, Sister Francesca leaves a lasting impression in her wake. Once a great love of the Emperor, her return to the palace strains the balance of power in the capital.”

“Prepare for a new Sister to show her strength. The #DuneProphecy episode featuring Tabu premieres December 15 on @streamonmax and December 16 in India on @officialjiocinema,” Tabu wrote on Instagram, sharing a picture of her intriguing character.

Dune: Prophecy, inspired by the novel Sisterhood of Dune by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, also features Jodhi May as Empress Natalya. The series boasts a talented ensemble, including Travis Fimmel, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Aoife Hinds, Chloe Lea, and Faoileann Cunningham.

The story focuses on the Harkonnen sisters, Valya and Tula, portrayed by Emily Watson and Olivia Williams, respectively. These sisters are determined to protect humanity from growing threats while laying the groundwork for the Bene Gesserit, an influential all-female order with remarkable abilities.
