In July, Haçienda Classical celebrates 10 years of performances at Manchester’s historic Castlefield Bowl.

A groundbreaking musical project, it fuses the spirit of the legendary Haçienda with the timeless sounds of classic dance tracks. Resident DJ Graeme Park carefully curates a selection of iconic anthems from the late 1980s and early 1990s, which are then reimagined with orchestral arrangements by the Manchester Camerata Orchestra, featuring powerful vocals from special guests, including Ultra Naté, Barbara Tucker, Cece Rogers and Julie McKnight.

Following overwhelming demand for their forthcoming UK arena tour, Blossoms have announced a second Manchester Co-op Live show for this December.

The band will be joined by very special guests, The Royston Club, across all tour dates.

The announcement follows last week's news of the band's sixth studio album, ‘Songs From The Wedding Cake’, due for release on October 2. Blossoms also released their brand-new single 'Meet Me In Love' and its accompanying video, starring Maya Jama and Callum Scott-Howells.

While its predecessor, recent single ‘Joke About Divorce’, found humour in the kind of ill-judged comment that can emerge during an argument with your spouse, ‘Meet Me In Love’ shifts the focus to romance, pairing an irresistible disco groove with one of the album's stand-out moments. The track also features backing vocals from fellow British songwriter and musician Declan McKenna.

The Snuts have announced their fourth studio album ‘Joy In Short Moments’, out October 23, and shared new single ‘Defibrillator’.

An upbeat drum-filled future summer anthem, ‘Defibrillator’ was inspired by the concept of a living wake. It's a song about choosing to show up for the people around you, letting go of ego, and finding joy in the collective.

Speaking on the new single, Jack Cochrane says: "I wanted to write a track that detailed a conscious decision to live and love more. To take life less seriously and dilute ego as often as possible. ‘Defibrillator’ is a song that celebrates the collective and trivialises the sludgy worries of being alive."

With his new album ‘Not Bad for New Jersey’, singer/songwriter Brian Fallon doubles down on the defiant romanticism that’s always fueled his songwriting, resisting any impulse to grow more guarded with time.

Before bringing his fifth solo LP to life, the Gaslight Anthem frontman returned to the fatalistic love songs that rewired his brain as a child - moody radio mainstays authored by rock icons deep into their second act, voiced by wild-eyed dreamers he alternately refers to as “beautiful losers” and “desperate lunatics.”
