Comedy fans are in for a treat after Peter Kay announced a new run of tour dates in a surprise announcement on Sunday night. The news was revealed in an advert in the first advert break during the return of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here on ITV.

The Bolton comedy superstar has been on a record-breaking run of gigs across the UK since December 2022. Now, a raft of 21 new tour dates have been announced across 2025 and 2026.

The new dates will include two new shows at Manchester's AO Arena in 2025, while Peter will also be heading out across the UK to some new more intimate venues for the first time.

He announced the extra dates for his comedy tour with the surprise TV ad which sees Peter spotted as he carries a gold toilet to his mum’s iconic bungalow and quips that he's got "no choice" but to add further dates to the record-breaking tour.

Peter’s new dates will see him perform in some of the UK’s largest arenas and more intimate theatre event spaces. The new 2025 and 2026 shows include his first dates at Aberdeen P&J Live, Brighton Centre, Bournemouth International Centre and Isle of Man Villa Marina.

The Better Late than Never tour saw Peter's comedy comeback and started in Manchester at the AO Arena in December 2022.

He's just completed his 100th show at the AO Arena breaking all attendance and performance records and, astonishingly, Peter is the first artist in the world to perform a monthly residency at The O2, London, performing 45 shows, the most played by any artist in the venue’s history. Peter’s new dates include two new weekend shows at The O2 in 2025 further adding to this incredible milestone.

Peter said in a statement on Sunday night: "It's been wonderful doing what I love most, stand-up comedy. Laughter is more important than ever in these challenging times and with the cost of living still at an all-time high, ticket prices for the new dates will start from £35."

How to get tickets

Tickets for the extra dates go on sale Saturday 23rd November at 10am via Ticketmaster here, See Tickets and Gigs and Tours here.
