BBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers say 'robbed' as Pete Wicks improves yet again

Strictly Come Dancing fans complained Pete Wicks had been 'robbed' on Saturday night's show, after describing him as one of the series' most improved dancers.

The reality star and podcast host was back in the ballroom on tonight (October 26) alongside his professional dance partner Jowita Przystal after they made it through to week six of the BBC One dance contest which just so happened to be fright night.

During the show's annual Halloween special, the pair paid homage to Todd Phillips’ Joker film with their haunting Viennese waltz to That’s Life by Frank Sinatra, which secured them their highest score of the series with 31 points out of a possible 40.

Dressed in the character’s infamous red suit and with green hair, Pete twirled and dipped professional dancer Jowita, who donned a red ruffled dress.

Jude Anton Du Beke hailed it as his best dance so far and praised his “breadth of movement” and characterisation. Shirley Ballas also praised former TOWIE star Pete, quipping: "You come out here as the joker but your dancing is no joke," before adding: "When you play this back tonight you are going to be very proud of yourself."

But despite Pete admitting he was 'finally happy' after his performance, fans felt he deserved even more for his latest performance. @BoydenNina fumed: "Nah Pete & Jowita was robbed they deserved 9's...Craig needs to go #Strictly." @TraineeOAP commented: "Not a fan of Pete but that deserves 9s all the way #Strictly."

Others, however, were quick to recognise an area where Pete has most improved. @bettyredondo shared: "Pete & Jowita VWaltz: wow the entire Joker concept /theme really worked in that dance . Really impressed with Pete’s acting . I think that was his best yet - definite steady improvement #Strictly." @_hayleyxx added: "Wow Pete and Jowita, that was fantastic and the acting was amazing too! Pete looks so good as the Joker! #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing."
