BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Dianne Buswell says 'don't tell' as she makes Chris McCausland admisson

Dianne Buswell has told fans 'not to tell anybody' as she made an admission about Chris McCausland while looking back at their Strictly Come Dancing journey.

The pair have now had time off over Christmas and the new year, during which they could get used to the fact they made history on the hit dance show by lifting the Glitterball trophy at the end of the BBC One dance contest's latest series on December 14.

They beat off stiff competitiong from their fellow 2024 finalists Miranda actress Sarah Hadland and partner Vito Coppola, Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and dancer Aljaz Skorjanec and JLS singer JB Gill and partner Lauren Oakley to be crowned the champions of Strictly's 20th-anniversary series.

Now, Dianne has shared a moment from the series which saw her and Chris rehearsing for their Halloween week routine which both acknowledged wasn't their best performance on the iconic Strictly ballroom floor.

Alongside the clip of them hard at work in the training room, Dianne wrote on her Instagram Story: "Going through my videos on my laptop and this was there so had a little watch! Halloween week, the samba. Feels like forever ago!"

She continued: "It was weeks like this that made the final even more special as there were some really hard weeks that we has to overcome! @chrismccauslandcomedy don't tell anyboyd but I dod miss it, even the moaning," before adding crying laughing emojis.

It comes after Dianne had an unexpected reminder of her time with Chris as she made a discovery in her dance bag. Fans of the pair will know that they regularly kept them updated with posts on social media and as well as chatting about how training was going, they also partook in a few games, including 'guess the flavour of the KitKat' in which Chris would get Dianne to try the different flavours of chocolate bars he had sourced.

Alongside a picture of a small original KitKat, Dianne wrote on her Instagram Story: "Cleaning my Strictly dance bag out! Found a Kit Kat. Made me [face holding back tears emoji]." She added: "@chrismccauslandcomedy shall we get together soon and do another episode?"
