BBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers make prediction as EastEnders legend spotted in audience

Strictly Come Dancing viewers have made a prediction as they spotted a very familiar face in the live studio audience. The hit BBC One dance contest returned on Saturday night (October 26) with its annual Halloween special.

Comedian Chris McCausland kicked off Halloween week with a lively samba to Stayin’ Alive by The Bee Gees. Dressed in a sparkly suit and frazzled wig, the stand-up grooved along the floor in between gravestones with his partner Dianne Buswell to pick up a score of 26.

Soon after, reality star Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal paid homage to Todd Phillips’ Joker film with their haunting Viennese waltz to That’s Life by Frank Sinatra which secured them their highest score of the series with 31 points.

Dressed in the character’s infamous red suit and with green hair, Pete twirled and dipped professional dancer Jowita, who donned a red ruffled dress.

It was later than EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick took to the ballroom floor alongside Michelle Tsiakkas who brought a Halloween classic to Strictly's 20th-anniversary series by performing the American Smooth to The Addams Family theme song.

Anton Du Beke described the performance as "joyous" before adding to Jamie: "You’re so good, just learn to love it". Craig Revel Horwood simply said it was "in-credible" but Motsi Mabuse seemingly agreed with Anton as she said Jamie was "improving, amazing" but to "just lighten up a little bit.".

But it was Jamie's EastEnders castmate Patsy Palmer who got viewers talking as she was spotted in the audience, @camjmes0 said: "Patsy Palmer in the strictly audience?! Another stint looms… #EastEnders #Strictly@ThatsOurLewis commented: "Patsy Palmer back in the UK in the #Strictly audience?! Hopefully it means more of these besties on-screen together #EastEnders."

Others, EastEnders fans weren't so sure. @Anthony12072000 shared: "Or she just maybe supporting her fellow cast member in Strictly audition Jamie Borthwick in Strictly this year." @HauerRay24010 added: "Or maybe she hasn't left yet and it's just a longer stint.2
