Prince Louis was less than impressed when big sister Princess Charlotte received a special gift during a secret visit to the Strictly studios with their mum, Princess Kate.

The Wales trio travelled to the Elstree Studios in December 2023 for a look behind the scenes of the hit BBC TV show. One of the stars they met was head judge Shirley Ballas - and she later shared a sweet story about little Louis and Charlotte. "They are beautiful. When they visited we had these crowns on set, so I thought it would be a nice idea to give the little girl a crown and I got him a nice box of sweets," Shirley told the Sun . "Then he went, 'I want one of those' and pointed at the crown.

"So, we had to go and find him a little crown. They're beautifully polite children. They had an absolute ball." She continued: "We have photos, but I didn't want to post them. I think it's more private for her. I was just glad she was able to come in and have a great day. They all watch Strictly."

Louis is known to have a close bond with his sister - and it's not the only time he has wanted to follow in her footsteps. Prince William previously revealed that Louis is Charlotte's little shadow at home, as he lifted the lid on their morning routine. "One of the songs that the children are loving at the moment is Shakira, Waka Waka. There's a lot of hip movements going along. There's a lot of dressing up," he said. "Charlotte, particularly, is running around the kitchen in her dresses and ballet stuff and everything. She goes completely crazy with Louis following her around trying to do the same thing."

And in September 2024, he shared that Louis has developed a penchant for Charlotte's jewellery. At the time he was on a walkabout in Llanelli, South Wales when he met with 10-year-old Ruby Davies. Little Ruby gave William a book of postcards written by students from Swiss Valley Community Primary School, as well as friendship bracelets for George, Charlotte, and Louis. The Prince said: "Thank you so much, Ruby. They’re going to love those. You’ll see them out and about. I'll keep them away from Louis because he'll try and steal all his sister's bits." Princess Charlotte and Prince George, as well as their grandfather King Charles, have previously been seen donning Taylor Swift-inspired friendship bracelets, with Charlotte seen wearing hers at Wimbledon and George in his official 11th birthday portrait.
