A man has been arrested after a car was allegedly driven into a crowd waiting at a bus stop.

A 32-year-old from Azerbaijan was arrested in Giessen, Germany after a car ploughed into a crowd of people after first hitting two other vehicles.

Three people were injured, one of them seriously, in the incident which police said they are treating as an accident.
