The Masked Singer halted as Toad in the Hole 'storms off stage'

The Masked Singer returned for latest episode on Saturday for its next episode but 'chaos' unfolded when a celebrity 'stormed off' stage after being voted out

The Masked Singer was "thrown into chaos" when a celebrity stormed off the stage after being voted out of the competition.

Host Joel Dommett was left open mouthed while the panel consisting of, Maya Jama, Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and guest judge Suranne Jones, were also left shocked.

The sixth series of the Masked Singer launched on last week (January 4) and on Saturday (January 11), five contestants took to the stage. After all acts had performed on stage the studio audience voted for their favourite character.

Bear and Toad in the Hole landed in the bottom two and had to perform again in a sing-off.

The panel then voted for their act with Bear going through to next week as Toad in the Hole was sent home.

But before Told in the Hole could reveal their true identity, they walked off the stage leaving the panel shocked.

The Masked Singer currently airs every Saturday on ITV and ITX
