Music producer Metro Boomin is facing accusations he committed rape which resulted in pregnancy.

The 31-year-old American musician - whose real name is Leland Tyler Wayne - has furiously denied the allegations made against him. He is being sued by a claimant named Vanessa LeMaistre, who has alleged that the Grammy-nominated star raped her in 2016 and that this allegedly resulted in an unwanted and terminated pregnancy.

LeMaistre filed her case in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County on Tuesday, alleging that the incident occurred at a recording studio in California in September 2016. Wayne’s attorney, Lawrence Hinkle II, has hit back against he allegations which he has branded "false".

He told the Mirror: “This is a pure shakedown. These are false accusations. Mr. Wayne refused to pay her months ago, and he refuses to pay her now. Mr. Waynewill defend himself in court. He will file a claim for malicious prosecution once he prevails.”

The Independent reports that LeMaistre befriended Wayne in 2016 after meeting via a friend in Las Vegas. It is suggested the pair bonded over a shared interest in music and this led to them spending time together in a recording studio. It is suggested that the pair enjoyed shots together in the recording facilities in September that year.

The Independent reports LeMaistre also “took half a Xanax, which she used to help get through difficult days and numb the pain.” It is then alleged that she lost consciousness in the studio and regained consciousness to find herself in a hotel room.

The publication quotes the lawsuit stating: “Ms. LeMaistre, completely confused, overwhelmed and traumatised by the brief flashes of memory she had, was desperate to get out of the room." The suit goes on to claim LeMaistre later learned she was pregnant, and she then underwent an abortion.

The suit is quoted stating: “Given the recent loss of her son and the traumatic cause of her pregnancy, Ms. LeMaistre knew that she could not continue the pregnancy and maintain any semblance of her declining mental health. As a result, Ms. LeMaistre had an abortion in November 2016.”

LeMaistre's own attorney is quoted slamming Wayne for the "offensive" and "explicit" lyrics found in his music. The producer has been releasing music since 2014 when he released his debut single, Chanel Vintage, which also featured Future and Young Thug. Other musicians he has collaborated with include Offset, Drake and Travis Scott - among many others.

Amid his legal issues, Wayne has been using social media to continue to interact with fans. On Wednesday, he shared an annotated document where he highlighted verses from the bible, quoting Jeremiah, “Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with your heart.”
