Wayne and Coleen Rooney were amongst the celebs celebrating Christmas in style

Celebrities are enjoying family time this Christmas but that hasn't stopped them posing up for a few photos in their PJs on the big day. The Rooneys led the way in their matching pyjamas featuring gingerbread men as Coleen posted a photo around midnight on Christmas Eve.

She was cuddling up to her youngest sons Cass, 6, and Kit, 8, whilst siblings Kai, 15, and Klay, 11, and dad Wayne were also in the snap in front of the Christmas tree. Dad Wayne and eldest Kai opted for green T shirts instead of pyjama tops. Earlier in the month they had posed in a different set of nightwear to promote charity sets sold by Matalan for Alder Hay Hospital and Coleen said: “We couldn’t wait to get snug in ours.”

They have also reportedly got into the Christmas spirit earlier this month by spending thousands on festive decorations with the garden of their Cheshire home brightly lit across trees, hedges and wreaths. And they weren’t the only family wearing matching nightwear this Christmas.

Ahead of cooking Christmas Dinner for 12, influencer and former Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague showed she and partner Tommy Fury are very much back together as they kissed in matching pyjamas with their daughter Bambi.

Molly said: “Just want to soak up this evening,” on Christmas Eve. Earlier she said she was practicing her cooking but added: “tomorrow it will be for 12 people”.

The Beckhams have also been busy documenting their Christmas, with mum Victoria showing David trimming the trunk of a tree and bringing it inside before decorating it.

Victoria then later added a photo of daughter Harper seemingly writing to Santa with the caption: “Manifesting her wishes.” A plate with a carrot on could be seen nearby. The family are expected to celebrate Christmas together today although as with all recent events their son Brooklyn, who is now living in America, will not be present.

And even though he is in Barbados, Simon Cowell and wife Lauren found a Christmas tree to pose under with their son Eric. Lauren's other son xxx is also on holiday with them and Lauren wrote on instagram: "Xmas Eve 2025 that's a wrap. Sadly I didn't manage to get even one photo of us all together...and my dress is a perfect match with the Xmas tree. Not planned!"

Over on X, Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher was up early and told fans: “Happy Christmas beautiful people LG.” Amongst those replying was bandmate Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs who said simply: “Happy Christmas x.”

Beatle Ringo Starr posted a video of himself behind a drumkit in a Santa hat and wrote: "Everybody Merry Christmas. Have a great time. Have a great life. Have a great evening, peace and love peace and love so this is Christmas."
