Jesy Nelson's awkward duet with Zion Foster resurfaces after pregnancy bombshell
Jesy Nelson was previously slammed for an inappropriate duet with her boyfriend just last year but the clip has come back to light following the news she's pregnant
by Daniel Bird · The MirrorJesy Nelson's scandalous duet featuring some very cringe lyrics about her boyfriend Zion Foster has resurfaced.
Over the weekend, fans were left gobsmacked when the former Little Mix singer took to social media to announce she's pregnant – with twins. The X Factor star shared a snap of herself with her growing bump and told fans: "She's eating for 3 now." In the snap, she rocked a white sports bra and camouflage patterned sweatpants as she rubbed her growing baby bump. Her partner Zion Foster stood behind her as they posed for the photo.
But the couple appeared to have split in September last year, with Zion stating on social media: "Beautiful woman inside and out, wish her nothing but the best." Following their dramatic announcement over the weekend, a duet between the couple has resurfaced – which Jesy was previously slammed for.
Just weeks before their split, the on-off couple appeared in a social media duet, which they shared on their respective TikTok pages as Jesy teased a new song. The lyrics included: "He's 25 and I'm 33, but she's the realest f***ing man I'll ever meet." The post instantly went viral but not for the right reasons.
Fans instantly took to the comment section to share their shock at the lyrics with one writing: "Hear these 8 lines and its already the worst song ever written by a former 2010s girl group member like even ally's songs are less corny." "They shouldve kept this to themselves. Like the song is romantic and all but this some s*** u make and play in the house, not release to the public," said a second.
Meanwhile a third penned: "This isn't serious." Another branded the tease a "mess." Her pregnancy news also saw the resurfacing of her her thoughts on motherhood during a chat with Glamour. She told the glossy outlet that motherhood was not for her and could never see herself having children.
Speaking to the publication, she said: "It's just not in me. I think as a woman, [motherhood is] either in you or it isn't. You either have that maternal feeling or you don't, and I've never had that feeling. I think women have to do what is right for them."
Jesy and Zion's brief breakup came after the pair's collaboration on duets, one of which they had teased to their admirers during the summer last year. Speculation about their relationship status had been rife among fans on social media platforms. However, it looks like they managed to patch things up and are looking forward to starting a family together.
The pair became an item in late 2022, united by their mutual passion for music but called time on their nine-month romance in August 2023. Jesy previously dated Love Island's Chris Hughes, Harry James and Sean Sagar. She also became engaged to Rixton's Jake Roche in 2015 but they called off their romance in 2016.
