Pat Finn has died after secretly battling cancer. The actor, 60, reportedly died on Tuesday at his home in Los Angeles, with his family close to him.

However, it has not been disclosed what type of cancer Pat had been battling privately. Reports claim that he had been diagnosed with bladder cancer several years ago.

Pat went into remission having battled cancer in 2022, but the devastating disease had returned and metastasised. Celebrity pals have started taking to social media to issue tributes.

Comedian Jeff Dye said on X, formerly known as Twitter: "I don't like to be the guy who post pics with celebrities that pass. But this guy wasn't just a celebrity to me. He was a friend. One of the best dudes I knew with a PERFECT sense of humour. I love you Pat Finn and I'll see again in the after, we can sing together and shake our heads about all the meannes in the used to be."

Brian Stack penned: "Heartbroken that our dear friend, Pat Finn, passed away. As kind as he was brilliantly hilarious. This video of him at our Chicago apartment in '96, making his baby daughter Cassidy pretend to drive a bus and do karate kicks, is priceless. Rest In Peace, Finner. We love you."
