Love Island finalist Laura Anderson has gone Instagram official with her new boyfriend, following her public split from dad to her her baby, Gary Lucy.

Laura, 35, appeared on the 2018 series of Love Island, and has since been part of other reality shows, including Celebs Go Dating, where she met Hollyoaks star Gary. The pair had a brief, yet dramatic, romance, finding out they were expecting baby Bonnie together after a few months of dating. The rocky relationship ended publicly, with Gary and Laura attempting to give it another shot, before splitting completely. But now, Laura has hopefully found love with Dundee footballer Clark Robertson. The 31-year-old plays centre-back for the Scottish Premiership club, and the pair beamed as they posed for photos together on a recent night out.

Laura captioned the sweet post: "Happy Friday," with photos showing her looking stunning as ever in her pink long-sleeved dress and tights. Her update comes just days after the reality star told the Mirror that she feared getting into a relationship again due to having barely any time for herself.

"I literally hardly see my friends, I don't really go out with my friends, I just kind of chat to them on the phone," she said. But she also shared her fears about getting into a relationship. "If I end up meeting someone and being in a relationship, that's another thing to juggle, isn't it?"

Laura, who first met Gary on Celebs Go Dating in 2022, previously said Gary had not seen his daughter for six months. The reality TV star made the claim in June when asked by a fan about their situation. At the time, Laura told them: "Do you mean has her daddy seen her….No he hasn’t since 2nd January if you would like to direct those questions to him as I have no control over the actions of others x."

After the end of their on and off again romance, Laura told Closer magazine: "It's early days but I'm trying to focus on her, rather than myself. I think putting your personal feelings aside and speaking to the person as a friend rather than your ex helps." She added: "It's going to be a journey as she's only a baby and this is all new to me, but I try to include Gary as much as I can. She has two parents and I want her to know that I always put her first." Laura also detailed the challenges she's faced while raising Bonnie as a single parent after she and Gary split before she was born.

She told the Mirror : "I think it was hard to get my head around initially, it wasn't what I expected. But that's the cards I was dealt in the end. Of course, I'm going to make it work for my child, even more so. I feel like I'm a really good mum, to be honest."

She went on to say: "Think how many mums out there are struggling with that work-life balance, it's not just me. It's so relatable and that's the best thing about 'Love Island', having a social media following, I've really understood it more since having a baby. It's so nice to resonate and it really is a positive place. It's just full of mums, it's not all about 'you're trying to look sexy all the time' because that's not important."
