Nautilus is a reimagining of Jules Verne's 1870 novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas.

Nautilus airs on Amazon Prime Video soon and the adventure drama follows Captain Nemo, an Indian prince who finds himself becoming a crusading scientist.

The series was originally planned to air on Disney+, before Amazon acquired the rights to the series in August this year.

Set in 1857, the show explores how the British East India Company wielded the most power at the time and was in the process of making a warship in India.

Captain Nemo was one of the prisoners forced to work on designing the ship, but he had other intentions for it.

Nemo hopes to set off a prisoner uprising in order to seize the Nautilus and use it to escape.
