Love Island's Jessie Wynter and Will Young send fans into meltdown with cryptic 'engagement' post

Hopeful fans of Love Island stars Jessie Wynter and Will Young may have jumped to conclusions after seeing their recent photos together, but wedding bells are not off the cards for the loved up pair

Love Island 's Will Young and Jessie Wynter's recent cryptic Instagram post has sent hopeful fans wild as they flood the comments with 'congratulations' messages.

The reality stars met on the ITV2 show in 2023 and have been inseparable ever since, but fans are hoping they are ready to take it to the next stage - if they haven't already. A series of snaps have caused a frenzy among their fans, with some believing a photo of her with a band on her ring finger means they're engaged, even though it's on her right hand.

Jessie and Will looked as loved up as ever while they posed in front of Battersea Power Station, with 27-year-old Jessie looking incredible in a strapless white mini dress, and Will in a tuxedo. To add to the mystery around the post, the caption underneath Will's photo selection simply read: "19.11.24."

Fans were left asking questions, with one commenting: "The date and wrong hand? I’m confused but I hope u guys are engaged!" Another baffled follower asked: "I might be being thick here but how did you guys get engaged in the future? Congratulations."

Others sent their support either way, with one saying: “You both look stunning and we can’t wait to see what’s happening on 19.11.24." One sleuth explained: "They tagged a profile that says launching soon, hahahaha clearly they are launching something." The pair have also started up what seems to be a joint account named Farmer Will and Jessie - it's set to private, but the bio reads: "Launching 19.11.24"

Although this might not quite be the announcement that fans were manifesting, it seems a proposal and even a baby are not out of the question - and it's unlikely to be that far off. They previously told how they had been trying to find a house together.

Jessie previously told OK!: "We're currently searching for a house because we are going to buy together. That's what's been taking our time up - it's actually really hard to find a house." Will chimed in to express their nesting goals: "Yeah we've got to get a house and then get ready for the baby," he teased, placing a hand on Jessie's midriff, before revealing hopes of soon becoming parents.

Chatting with The Sun, Jessie gushed: "We definitely do speak about marriage, and getting engaged and everything a lot. I think if we could, we would be engaged right now. We'd be having a wedding, but at the moment, like we've just got so many other things to navigate at the moment. So that's not the top of my priorities."
