Good Morning Britain's Richard Madeley unexpectedly walks out of ITV studio

Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley were back to front Good Morning Britain on Tuesday.

Richard Madeley unexpectedly left the Good Morning Britain studio on Tuesday.

During the weather segment, Richard went outside as he wanted to see if it was snowing - and much to his delight, it was.

As he returned to the studio, Susanna Reid said: "Richard, are you reporting from the scene?"

"It is absolutely tipping down with snow outside, it has just started about five minutes ago after you first spoke...nothing and suddenly it has happened.

"We will show you the pictures in a minute, it is really heavy."

Susanna chipped in: "Can I recommend that next time you go out with a coat."

The host laughed as Richard explained: "This is live television, Susanna, every minute counts, there was no time to put a coat on. I suffer for the news."
