Erika Ishii to host the 2026 Gayming Awards alongside Ru Paul's Dawn

The Award Show is set for June 8.

Next month, Gayming Magazine will host its annual awards show, the Gayming Awards, to spotlight achievements in LGBTQ+ representation in the games industry. This year’s show has found its host in actor Erika Ishii and Dawn from Ru Paul’s Drag Race.

Gayming Magazine shared the announcement with Shacknews via press release. Erika Ishii joins the award show hot off their performance as Atsu in 2025’s Ghost of Yotei. Dawn was named an All Star on the hit reality series Ru Paul’s Drag Race. Guest stars include Farrah Moan, Rock M Sakura, Evan Michael Lee, Chase Kolozsi, Leslie Pirritano, Alex Stompoly.

Gayming Mag has also announced that Trixie Mattel will receive the inaugural LGBTQ+ Content Creator Superstar Award for her impact in the content creator space. Darion Lowenstein will receive the Gayming Icon Award.

The 2026 Gayming Awards are set for June 8, 2026, at 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET on WOW Presents Plus.
