Battlefield Studios has announced that Season 4 will feature a collaboration with the Top Gun franchise. The crossover will bring the addition of the F-18/Super Hornet and F-14 Tomcat fighter jets, as well as characters from the Top Gun films.

The Top Gun collab was announced alongside an info dump for Battlefield 6 and Redsec Season 4. The collab will bring Lt. Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw, Lt. Robert “Bob” Floyd, and Adm. Solomon “Warlock” Bates to Battlefield as playable operators. Furthermore, the characters will be voiced by their respective actors (Miles Teller, Lewis Pullman, and Charles Parnell).

Battlefield 6 will get two new modes inspired by Top Gun: Carrier Strike and Fighter Sweep. A jets-only Gauntlet mission will also be added to Redsec.
