Bethesda has officially unveiled the next Elder Scrolls’ game’s title and logo: The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel.

That came directly from Todd Howard in a lengthy video celebrating the 40th anniversary of Bethesda Game Studios. After thanking fans for joining in Bethesda’s highs and lows so far, Howard finished in saying, “everybody’s always asking about Elder Scrolls 6, and we thought, hey given the moment, what a perfect time to tell you what the Elder Scrolls 6 is actually called.”

While all we got was a title, a logo, and some sand, it does speak volumes to rumors that had been going around for a long time. Sentinel is the capital kingdom of Hammerfell, home region of the Redguard. The desert sands around the logo suggest that we will indeed be exploring a grand quest in the Redguard homeland.

The Redguard have had plenty of lore and quests throughout The Elder Scrolls, but never a full adventure in their home region. Even so, there are no details on release windows or gameplay at this time. As we await those reveals, stay tuned to The Elder Scrolls 6 topic for updates.
