The situation continues to look rough for Yakuza/Like a Dragon creator Toshihiro Nagoshi and Nagoshi Studio as the developer’s website has seemingly gone offline. The situation on the studio’s upcoming title, Gang of Dragon, continues to look spotty.

Nagoshi Studio’s website going offline was spotted by social media gaming news account HazzadorGamin. There has been no statement by the studio as to why this occurred. The studio’s last social media communication was on February 17, when it thanked fans for their support of the Game Awards trailer.

Back in March, Bloomberg reported that NetEase Games had cut funding for Nagoshi Studio and Gang of Dragon. The sudden pull was followed by Nagoshi Studio’s YouTube channel and trailers suddenly disappearing as if deleted, before being reinstated without any explanation.

When it was revealed at The Game Awards 2025, Gang of Dragon looked like a solid return to form for the creator who gave us the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series. As we watch for updates, stay tuned to the Nagoshi Studio topic.
