Resident Evil Requiem has been a critical hit and an early financial success for Capcom. As the studio looks to the future, the developer has confirmed that DLC for Resident Evil Requiem is currently in development.

Director Kōshi Nakanishi shared a video on social media this morning to make the announcement. “We are planning to make more story content!” he said, while holding a picture that reads “story expansion now in development.” The team is currently working on the expansion, but Nakanishi stated that it will take some time to complete.

Nakanishi also confirmed that Resident Evil Requiem will receive a content update in May that will add a new minigame.

It’s unclear if the DLC will once again feature protagonists Grace and Leon, or shift its focus to different characters. Shacknews’ David Craddock gave Resident Evil Requiem a rare 10/10 in his February review.
