A new single-player Star Wars RPG is in development.

Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic, a new single-player RPG, is in development. Directed by Casey Hudson, the director of Knights of the Old Republic, the game is in development at Arcanaut Studios in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.

Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic was announced with a cinematic trailer at The Game Awards. It was light on details, but we saw a human character exploring a rainy planet alongside a droid. The trailer concluded with a blue lightsaber being ignited.
