Pokemon Winds and Pokemon Waves announced for 2027

Game Freak have shown off the new region and Starter Pokemon for Generation 10.

Today’s Pokemon Presents showcase ended with the reveal of the next generation of Pokemon games. Pokemon Winds and Pokemon Waves have been announced for a 2027 release on Switch 2.

The announcement trailer for Pokemon Winds and Waves shows off various settings in the new region, including caves, beaches, and underwater areas. It also gave us our first look at the game’s three starter Pokemon: Browt, Pombon, and Geqcua.

Pokemon Winds and Waves were the final announcement in Pokemon’s 30th anniversary showcase, which featured updates regarding Pokemon Pokopia, Pokemon Go, and other games in the franchise.
