Hideo Kojima will voice Paul Moldebrandt in the Japanese dub of Zootopia 2

It’s been confirmed that famous video game developer Hideo Kojima will lend his voice to the Japanese release of Disney’s Zootopia 2. He’ll voice Paul Moldebrandt, a new character in the animated sequel film.

The news of Hideo Kojima’s involvement in Zootopia 2 was reported by Famitsu. He’ll voice Paul Moldebrandt, a member of the Zootopia police and what is being described as a cameo role. According to the report, Zootopia 2 director Jared Bush offered Kojima the role himself.

Kojima will only appear in the Japanese dub version of Zootopia 2, so don’t expect to hear his voice if you watch the film in English (or another language).

Hideo Kojima is no stranger to cameos in film and television, but this will mark his first appearance in a Disney animated film. Kojima Productions is collaborating with Disney for an animated series set in the Death Stranding universe.
