by Donovan Erskine · ShacknewsEmberville, the pixel art action RPG from Cygnus Cross, which was originally supposed to release in Early Access tomorrow, has now been delayed to January 7, 2027. The studio explained that the decision came following the game’s Steam Next Fest demo.
Cygnus Cross made the announcement in a social media post. “This decision wasn’t made lightly,” the statement reads. “After a fantastic Steam Next fest, we realized we simply needed more time to include all the changes and improvements that we think will make the game the best it can be.”
Emberville features a star-studded voice cast that includes Abubakar Salim, Matthew Mercer, Jennifer English, Ben Starr, Nick Apostolides, and more. The game utilizes a pixel art style and features a variety of weapons, skills, and bosses.
Emberville was originally slated to release in Early Access on Tuesday, October 27. Now, it’ll be one of the first video games to launch in 2027. The Steam Next Fest demo is still available for players itching for a taste of the game.
