Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2 gets fall 2026 release window

The new season of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will follow a new group of characters.

Studio Trigger has announced that Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, the follow-up to its beloved anime, will release this fall. The second season of the show will once again be set in Night City, but with an entirely new main cast.

The release window for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 was announced with a new trailer. It introduces some of the new characters that’ll be featured in the show, as well as the chaos that’ll ensue during their adventures in Night City.

The first season of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was released in 2022, nearly two years after the launch of Cyberpunk 2077. Developer CD Projekt RED produced both seasons of the show.

Studio Trigger announced that production was underway on Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 last summer. Now, we’re set to get the show before the end of the year.
