The Chabad Treatment Center in Los Angeles shared a photo on Friday of a weekly visit they say brings immense strength to residents on their journey to recovery.

According to the center, California Head Shliach Rabbi Shlomo Cunin, despite leading one of the largest Chabad operations in the world, makes time each week to sit with residents, offering words of Torah, encouragement, and personal guidance.

The center said Rabbi Cunin’s visits help create an environment where people can recover not only physically and emotionally, but spiritually as well. He was pictured with two residents identified, with permission, as Yehuda and Benny.

“One of the things that makes Chabad Treatment Center so unique is the connection between recovery, community, and Jewish values,” the center said.

“We are grateful for leaders who continue to show up, give back, and remind us that every person has infinite value and the ability to change their life.”
