As a new school year begins, building strong relationships with your children’s teachers is essential. Don’t wait to show gratitude- dedicating their lives to chinuch is reason enough to be grateful from day one.
Here’s a sneak peak from Beginning with Gratitude on practical ways to cultivate rapport with educators right from the start.
Give Thanks Early: Rather than waiting until the end of the term to express appreciation, giving a small token of gratitude at the start of the year establishes an early bridge for communication.
Keep It Simple: Expression of gratitude doesn’t need to be complex or expensive. A modest gift like a fresh box of bakery danishes or a bar of chocolate tied with a ribbon makes a lasting impression. It’s really the thought that counts.
Involve Your Children: Engage kids in preparing thank-you notes or baking treats so they take active ownership in valuing their teachers’ role in their chinuch.
