by COLlive Editor · COLliveAn emotional full-circle moment took place in Crown Heights on Thursday, as hostage survivor Bar Kuperstein paid a special visit to 770 – Chabad World Headquarters.
Powerful scenes of inspiration and gratitude took place throughout the visit, which included stops in the Rebbe’s room, the WLCC broadcasting room, the main shul, and other areas of 770.
The visit was hosted by Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, chairman of Merkos 302, whose connection with Kuperstein began shortly after his release from captivity. Rabbi Kotlarsky had visited him at the medical center in the days following his return, and about a month later accompanied him on a visit to the Ohel.
During his time at 770, Kuperstein entered the Rebbe’s room for prayers. In the holy room, he put on Tefillin and offered an emotional prayer of thanks for the personal miracle of his release.
