The Yeshiva, Under the leadership of Rabbi Shmuel Kaufman, now in his second year as principal, has embarked on a remarkable journey of growth and revitalization.
Rabbi Kaufman’s visionary leadership, coupled with implementing strategic systems and initiatives, has profoundly impacted students, teachers, and parents. The school’s atmosphere and performance difference is tangible, and the yeshiva is thriving and growing.
As the annual fundraiser approached, the idea arose to treat the community with a full Shabbaton designed to uplift and connect individuals across all demographics. The weekend included a diverse array of programming, such as:
A lecture for parents on Chinuch and parenting,
A Shabbos farbrengen for men,
A Motzei Shabbos Melave Malka for the staff of YTTL and Beis Rivka, Moderated by Rabbi Kaufman
A Sunday morning brunch and Q&A session for women, moderated by Amanda Spiro.
Each event was a resounding success, leaving the community deeply inspired and grateful. Rabbi Taub’s unique ability to blend wisdom and warmth created a meaningful experience for all who participated.
“I was deeply impressed by the incredible growth and vibrancy at Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Montreal during my extended visit,” said Rabbi Taub. “The yeshiva’s dedicated board and faculty, who have worked tirelessly through a comprehensive process of renewal, are fostering an inspiring environment for Torah learning and spiritual development.”
Special recognition is due to the yeshiva’s dedicated administration, Menahel: Rabbi Kaufman and Vice Principals Rabbi Levi Berger and Rabbi Mordechai Wenger, Curriculum Director & Teacher Coach Rabbi Velvel Gurkow for their tireless efforts in advancing the institution, with the support of the Yeshiva Board of Directors—Mr. Simcha Wenger, Mr. Avner Kirschenbaum, Mr. Aaron Spiro, Mr. Mendel Abramowitz, and Mr. Yossi Gansbourg, Executive Director Mordechai Nelken, Director Of Development Rabbi Moshe Cohen, the Yeshiva continues to reach new heights.
