Tonight, the 6th of Tishrei, marks 62 years since the passing of Rebbetzin Chana Schneerson נ״ע, the Rebbe’s mother.
The respect that her son, the Rebbe, accorded his mother was exemplary and a model we all seek to emulate. Despite the Rebbe’s incredibly busy daily schedule, not a day passed on which he didn’t visit and spend time with her.
In her honor, the Rebbe established a special fund Keren Chana to assist Jewish women and girls in furthering their Jewish studies.
On this special day, I urge you to honor Rebbetzin Chana by contributing generously to the fund created and nurtured by the Rebbe, and help provide the opportunity for many more Jewish women and girls seeking to advance their Torah studies.
With blessings that you and yours be inscribed and sealed for a happy, healthy and sweet new year.
