M’sian group DOLLA to host meet-and-greet session at Plaza Merdeka on Sept 29

Popular all-girl pop group DOLLA will be meeting fans at Plaza Merdeka on Sept 29.

KUCHING (Sept 22): Popular Malaysian girl group DOLLA will be hosting an exciting meet-and-greet session at Plaza Merdeka here on Sept 29.

Held in connection with the upcoming Borneo Sonic Music Festival (BSMF) this October, the trio consisting of Tabby, Angel, and Sabronzo, will be meeting their fans from 4pm onwards.

DOLLA is one of the Malaysian talents set to perform at this year’s festival taking place from Oct 11 to 12, held at the Sarawak Stadium here. Other local artistes include Yuna, Jess Lee, Priscilla Abby, and musical innovator Namewee.

The second edition of BSMF is expected to attract 36,000 music lovers from around the world, where prominent international artistes in the likes of Korean superstar Rain, hip-hop sensation Jessi, GOT7 member Youngjae, Indonesian pop icons Judika and Bunga Citra Lestari, as well as Thailand’s leading girl group 4EVE, are set to deliver exciting live performances.

To enrich the ’Borneo Sonic’ experience, emerging Korean artistes such as Junny, DJ UJoo, and Yoon Seobin will also be performing, along with Malaysian idol Thomas, internet sensation ZED-X, Australian EDM duo SLUMBERJACK, Dutch singer Natalie La Rose, and renowned Malaysian DJ BLINK.

In addition, BSMF will be hosting a ‘Borneo Sonic Food Carnival’ from Oct 9 to 12 outside Sarawak Stadium, featuring 50 food brands offering unique culinary experiences, while camping enthusiasts can also enjoy a glamping experience outside the stadium.

On Oct 12, a Borneo Sonic Music Fun Run will be held, featuring two categories: 5km and 3km.

Prior to the festival, attendees can enjoy a preview of the music festival’s setlist at the Sundown Festival at tHe Spring Shopping Mall here, with local band Harmonix performing on Sept 28 and Oct 4.
