Inaugural MasterCraft Challenge calls for entries to uncover S’wakian talents
by The Borneo Post Team · Borneo Post OnlineKUCHING: The inaugural MasterCraft Challenge 2024, which is opened to all Sarawakians, is set to take place on Nov 30, 2024, at the Kuching Waterfront, coinciding with the highly anticipated BorneoCraft Global Expo (BCG2024).
This unique three-hour challenge is an opportunity for creative individuals of all ages to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship. Terms and guidelines are stipulated in the application form on the website.
The MasterCraft Challenge invites participants to express their talents using any medium of their choice.
In the challenge, participants are given a specific time to complete their craft, whether it is in carpentry, pottery, beading, sculpting or any other forms or medium.
The first prize winner will receive RM5,000, second prize (RM3,000) and third prize (RM2,000). There are also two consolation prizes.
The closing Date for entries is on November 12 and shortlisted contestants will be notified on November 20.
