Ethan Slater Just Shared the Cutest Photos of Ariana Grande Celebrating Christmas

Despite recent *ahem* reports of trouble in paradise, Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater are going strong enough to have spent Christmas together this year—and folks, we have the pictures to prove it.
Ethan took to his Instagram Story on December 26 and shared a series of sweet images that featured Ariana channeling her inner Audrey Hepburn in a black turtleneck, matching pants and a white headband. The Wicked star also played with her icon of a dog, Toulouse, in the boomerang snaps.
“Very merry holidays,” Ethan captioned the following image, which featured his GF laughing and sitting next to a friend.
In case you haven't noticed, photos of this variety are quite rare for the couple—Ethan and Ariana have famously kept a low profile with their relationship, likely due to its questionable timing (read: Ethan possibly getting together with Ariana while filming Wicked despite him uprooting his ex-wife, Lilly Jay, and their young baby for the project, which Lilly later wrote about in a rather spicy essay).
Ethan and Ariana did face some end of the year breakup rumors, but a People source later cleared that right on up and explained that the couple is “making it work” despite their busy schedules—Ari will be hitting the road for her 2026 Eternal Sunshine Tour and recently wrapped filming Focker In-Law with Ben Stiller, while Ethan is gearing up to star in his Off-Broadway play, Marcel on the Train.
“They both have a lot going on, but their relationship is the real deal,” the source said, ahead of the premiere of Wicked: For Good last month. “They’re incredibly supportive of each other’s careers and so excited for everyone to see their new film.”
And of course, any drama was formally laid to rest after Ethan appeared in Elizabeth Gilles’ Instagram photo dump that celebrated Ariana's most recent Saturday Night Live hosting gig.
