Inside the Diwali Celebration at Maxwell Social
· CosmopolitanThis week the incredibly chic social club, Maxwell Social, hosted its second annual Diwali celebration. Founders, creatives and tastemakers across the entertainment, beauty, and fashion industries gathered at the Tribeca brownstone to mix and mingle, and of course everyone was dressed to the nines in their finest evening wear. The party was hosted by Neerja Patel, and David Litwak alongside actors Avantika and Aryan Simhadri, creators Aditya Madiraju and Surya Garg and Chef Aditya Mishra.

The event itself also made a point to celebrate young voices that are shaping culture and building community. David Litwak explained in his opening remarks that the ethos of Maxwell Social was to create a members club that was actually accessible to young people. Avantika poignantly spoke about the importance of youth-led movements, especially in today's political and cultural climate, and how it was vital that young peoples voice’s were heard and uplifted.
Guests were treated to divine chai-based cocktails (I can tell you from first-hand experience that the chai margarita was absolutely delicious) from Kolkata Chai Co and yummy desserts from Malai Ice Cream, Flutter Butter Bakery, and Knead More Love.

And that's not all, gift bags at the end of the night included items from Nisva Skincare, Satya Blends, Dagne Dover, Urban Decay and Maybelline. What a treat!
