Prince Harry Reportedly Feels “Completely Vindicated” by Earl Spencer’s Tell-All Book

Princess Diana’s brother, Earl Charles Spencer, is releasing a book about her called Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, and he is...not holding back. In fact, Buckingham Palace has already released a response to an absolutely explosive excerpt claiming King Charles said people would “forget” about Diana after her death—and the royals are concerned about what else the book could reveal.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, however, reportedly knew the book was incoming, and feel vindicated about their own experience.

“Harry feels completely vindicated,” a source tells Rob Shuter. “For years, he was accused of betraying the family by speaking publicly. Now Diana’s own brother is opening the same vault and describing a Windsor world Harry recognizes immediately.”

Another insider notes that “Harry and Meghan believe Diana’s story shows what happens when protecting the institution becomes more important than protecting the person. To them, this book doesn’t just revisit Diana—it helps explain why they left. They’re saying, ‘This is exactly what we’ve been talking about.’”

The second source adds that “Harry believes his mother was silenced enough while she was alive. He has zero interest in making her story more comfortable for the Palace now. He believes Charles Spencer is defending Diana, not attacking the monarchy. If the truth makes the Palace uncomfortable, Harry believes that’s the Palace’s problem.”

Rob Shuter reports that Harry was made aware of the book’s contents ahead of time, whereas Prince William was kept in the dark. As they put it, “Harry was brought inside the circle. William was kept outside it.”
