Here's Why Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula Still Haven't Filed for Divorce

It's been several months since Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula announced that they were separating and apparently they still haven't filed for divorce. You know, despite the fact that Amanda has been straight up dating West Wilson.

Amanda was actually asked about where she and Kyle stand on the whole divorce thing during the Summer House reunion (which was filmed a few weeks ago) and said that she has legal counsel. But it’s not clear why further steps haven’t been taken.

“I’ve attained counsel, and my attorney has reached out to Kyle,” the reality star said, adding, “but we haven’t gotten anywhere since then.”

So, what’s going on? Page Six spoke to a source who said the pair are still sorting out their finances, and confirmed that Kyle wants Amanda to initiate divorce proceedings so she won't “look like the villain.”

Reminder that Kyle recently hopped on Threads and shut down speculation that he and Amanda were never really married, telling a fan “You got me. I’m an actor and faked a $200k wedding in front of my entire family, friends, and the world. The only actor with a MBA, a SBA loan, 2 businesses, and an acquired set of skills that lets me recall my scripted lines from memory when drunk, even blackout. I’m a jack of all trades which is exactly why I’m capable of pulling off such trickery.”

He then shared a photo of them at Hillsborough town hall and told the person who he was responding to to “please take off your tinfoil hat.”
