Ben Affleck Had an Awkward Reunion With Exes Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner

Today in awkward celebrity news, Ben Affleck just reunited with both his ex wives—aka Jenner Lopez and Jennifer Garner—at the same event.

Ben, Jen, and J.Lo showed up to support their kids in a school play and—according to Page Six—Ben and Jennifer Garner arrived together, while Jenner Lopez arrived separately. The outlet reports that J.Lo "seemingly did not interact with her ex or Garner—at least not outside" and that while they were in eye shot of each other, they stayed in "separate groups."

Back in April, a source told Us Weekly that Ben and J.Lo were "not in contact very often," were "in a place where they know they can call or text at any time and be cordial," and are "still in touch, but they were more so during the divorce because they had a reason to be, especially for the kids. The blended family vibe has softened with distance, but there’s still lots of love."

Meanwhile, "Ben doesn’t feel as exposed now, and he likes that. Ben never really liked the public aspect of their relationship. [He] was frustrated with the Bennifer 2.0 nickname and never really comfortable with it all."

A source also told the Daily Mail that "They are both sad that the marriage did not work out. Instead of crying over it, however, they are working their hearts out. They love being busy with solid projects. They want more successes, more hit films, more awards."
