How to Watch the 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards

Anime’s biggest creators and celeb fans are officially in Tokyo for the biggest night of the year as we get ready to see who takes home some of the top prizes at the 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards. Obviously, you definitely don’t want to miss it either as more than 73 million votes were submitted, so the competition is 100 percent fierce this year.

Dandandan, Gachiakuta, My Hero Academia: Final Season, Takopi's Original Sin, The Apothecary Diaries, and The Summer Hikaru Died are all up for Anime of Year. Meanwhile, there will be tribute performances in honor of the award’s 10th year, including Dean Fujioka singing “History Maker” from Yuri on Ice, the first to win the grand prize at the awards.

Excited to tune in? Beginning with the Orange Carpet Pre-Show at 5:00PM JST and main show ceremony at 6:00PM JST, the livestream will be available for global tune-in on Crunchyroll’s Twitch, TikTok, and YouTube channels as well as the Global and Japanese Sony Group Corp YouTube Channels. The 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards will be available in 9 languages, including English, Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Italian, and Latin Spanish.

So for those back in the US, you’re going to want to 4:00 AM ET / 1:00 AM PT for the Orange Carpet Pre-Show and 5:00 AM ET / 2:00 AM PT for the main show!

The Weeknd will be presenting the award for Anime of the Year, while other presenters include Cosmopolitan cover star Young Miko, Black Panther star Winston Duke, BamBam, RZA, Ten, Ethan Bortnick and more!
