Travis Kelce’s Friend Calls Out Wedding Snub on Podcast: “Clearly I am Doing Something Wrong in Our Friendship”

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce invited hundreds of celebrities to their wedding at Madison Square Garden, but apparently a few people were left off the list and are feeling some kinda way about it.

On top of retired NFL player Will Compton saying he was “flabbergasted” over being snubbed despite being friends with Travis, their mutual friend (and Will’s podcast co-host) Taylor Lewan had a lot to say.

“Going into the weekend I thought ‘all good, didn’t get an invite,’” Taylor said on his podcast, via the Daily Mail. “At the end of the day when it comes to weddings, don’t make it about yourself. I sit back, happy for them, I shot Travis a text saying congratulations, he hit me back pretty quick.”

Lewan added that he tuned into coverage of the wedding, and eventually started to see more and more guests arrive, saying “Dude, when I saw that Dean Blandino got invited, friend of our show. Dean Blandino was there. Now I am starting to think is this a personal shot that Will and I are taking? This is a high road episode but we can point out why we are taking the high road. Cooper Kupp is there—you didn’t play with Cooper Kupp! I’m looking at these names… this is where I was kind of like, ok. When I saw George Kittle’s mom and stepmom there! Yo, we're boys! I’ve known you over 10 years! We text and call each other! I'm going to take the high road, ok, but clearly I am doing something wrong in our friendship. Clearly doing something wrong.”

Lewan then recorded a voice memo to send to Travis (which he ended up deleting), saying “Listen, I am so happy for you, couldn’t be more excited for you and your beautiful wife. I just want to know the thought process of inviting people and how did that work? I am seeing a lot of individuals on here and I am just wondering how it all happened. Hope you’re all good.”
