Wait, Is James Marsden Returning for ‘Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat’
Wait, is James Marsden back for Jury Duty season 2?
· CosmopolitanLet’s get one thing very clear: James Marsden deserved an Emmy for his incredible performance as himself in season 1 of Jury Duty. So it’s no surprise to hear that fans of the show are wondering if the actor would be back for another season of the series. Sure, he’s busy working on Sonic and getting more Emmy noms for Paradise, but this is the role that he was born to play and we definitely want to see more on our screens.
This is everything you need to know about James Marsden in Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat.
The answer is…actually more complicated than you think!
James is technically back for a second season of Jury Duty, but don’t think you’ll actually catch him on your screen. The actor returned as a producer, so he’s working behind-the-scenes as the show shifts from the courtroom to the Rockin' Grandma's Hot Sauce retreat.
This kind of makes sense since, if you saw the first season, he kind of was big deal addition on there. So if he was back for another season and Anthony, the man who doesn’t know all of this is fake, remembered that detail, it could derail everything.
So, are there any celebrity cameos in Company Retreat?
That depends on what you consider to be a celebrity cameo. The show includes a major roster of comedy actors who you might remember from other shows like Alex Bonifer who used to be on Kevin Can F**k Himself and Lisa Gilroy who has been making the rounds in Shrinking, The Studio, and even appeared in the show’s first season.
However, as for any major surprise Hollywood stars who are playing themselves, none have appeared on the show yet or have been announced. Still, we’re enjoying seeing these fake company come together at the wildest (fake) company retreat yet.
