Honor has launched a pair of new smartphones, but they aren’t exactly brand new, as we’ve seen them before with other names. Honor X5d and X5d Plus are rebranded versions of the Honor X5c and X5c Plus, respectively, which launched back in 2025. The X5d series brings identical specs and looks to the X5c models, though there is a new Tidal Blue color option to help differentiate them.

Honor X5d and X5d Plus both feature 6.74-inch IPS LCDs with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. They get a 5MP selfie camera housed inside a waterdrop notch and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Both phones are equipped with MediaTek’s Helio G81 chipset and come with 4GB RAM. X5d features 64GB storage, while the Plus model comes with 128GB. Both phones boot MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15 and feature 5,260 mAh batteries with 15W wired charging.

In terms of cameras, X5d Plus gets a higher resolution 50MP main shooter with f/1.8 aperture, while the non-plus version has a 13MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture. Both phones also bring auxiliary QVGA 0.08MP modules and feature IP54 ingress protection

Honor X5d and X5d Plus color options

Honor X5d and X5d Plus are available in Tidal Blue and Midnight Black colors. They are currently listed in Malaysia with the X5d going for MYR 369 ($93) in its 4/64GB trim, while the X5d Plus is priced at MYR 459 ($115) for the 4/128GB version.
