For two nights, Iron City became the backdrop for laughter, sisterhood and unfiltered conversations as podcast hosts Lex P and Drea Nicole brought their “Still Sippin’ Tour” to Birmingham on June 18 and June 19.
Fans packed the venue both evenings, ready for the live experience from the duo behind the wildly popular “Pour Minds” podcast. What unfolded was more than a show. It was a girls’ night out wrapped in storytelling, comedy and candid conversations about relationships, personal growth and navigating life.
From the moment the hosts stepped on stage, the audience responded with cheers, laughter and the kind of energy that made the packed venue feel intimate. Throughout both nights, attendees sang along to music, reacted to stories and became part of the experience, proving why the podcast’s devoted fan base continues to grow.
The Birmingham stop also spotlighted homegrown talent. Special guests included Birmingham influencers Queen Leora at Thursday’s show and K Hood on Friday’s show, whose appearances brought hometown pride to the stage and earned enthusiastic reactions from the crowd.
Another highlight came when the hosts took time to recognize Birmingham native Shay Abrams, producer and marketing manager for Pour Minds. A graduate of Minor High School and the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Abrams joined the team behind the podcast and, according to the hosts, helped elevate the brand to new heights.
“We added somebody to our team that is from Birmingham,” Lex P told the crowd. “When we added Shay on our team, everything changed.”
The acknowledgment drew loud applause from the audience and culminated in chants celebrating Abrams, who was recognized during both nights of the tour stop.
As the show came to a close, Lex P and Drea Nicole expressed gratitude to Birmingham for embracing the podcast and helping make the stop one of the most successful on the tour.
“When we first booked this tour, we were bugging them, bugging them, bugging them, and they gave us a small venue,” Lex P said. “They were like, ‘Y’all ain’t gonna sell no tickets.’ And look what happened. Y’all showed out for us.”
She added, “There are two dates on this entire tour that required two days, and y’all were one of them. Y’all know how much this means to us because we still have a lot of doors to break down.”
